The
Fiscal Policy Studies Institute (FPSI) was established in 1996 to assist communities, cities, counties, states and nations
working to measurably improve
the well-being of their citizens.
Since
then FPSI has worked with state and local partners, from the public and private sectors,
in over 40 states and countries around the world. FPSI websites now
receive over 800,000 hits per year.
FPSI
strives to do this work with a sense of commitment and also a sense of humor. So not
everything you will find on this website is entirely serious.
The FPSI publications list includes papers
on results-based
decision making and budgeting, performance measurement, trading results
accountability for fund flexibility, financing, and much more.
Including papers on a range of
subjects from Results Accountability to recreation.
FPSI provides the following workshops:
(1) The basic Results Accountability 101 (also known as RBA 101,
or OBA 101 in the UK) and (2) A two-day Training
for Trainers and Coaches workshop, and (3) Coaching sessions for organizations working to
implement Results Accountability.
